The 2011 Ecowise Community Awards are now open. The EcoWise Community Awards celebrate and honour the people of West Auckland who show a commitment to beautifying the city and who care for their environment through volunteer action and pride.

The massive Westfield WestCity Mall Mural now has a launch date! Set to be unveiled in an early morning ceremony at 8.30am Saturday 1 October, the 27 metre long art work is the result of some two years of community collaboration and a lot of hard work by Project Twin Streams Arts Coordinators Janet Holt and Mandy Patmore.
